Where does it go?

This is attached to the front of the crankshaft and drives the timing and oil pump chains.

Why do I need this?

If your existing sprocket looks anything like the used sprocket we have pictured than you’re jeopardising the reliability of your motor. A damaged sprocket tooth or one where the rubber insulator has perished is far from ideal and may cause catastrophic engine failure. We often install these whenever we have the chance to ensure peace of mind and happy racing.
