Here is the KAZZ Engineering Steering Angle Adapters!
This is our favourtie product!
About the product…
Unlike any other lock angle kit on the market – these adapters are Australian made, use a full high tensile chromoly design, and suit cars with oem standard E36 & E46 hubs and outer tie rods with longevity in mind. We are very proud to offer this product and can take full credit when saying that they are personally made in-house.
These adapters are CNC machined in Brisbane from 4140 chromoly steel. High tensile tappered shoulder bolts and nylock hardware is also supplied. Advancing from the success of our V1 lock adapters, the V2 KAZZ Engineering steering angle adapters come with some excitng iterations – focused on improved durability and geometry.
Achieve up to 60 degrees of steering angles with these bolt on steering angle adapters!
Our products have been tested to consistently prove and ensure that you can expect the following:
-Increased steering angle with subsequent quickened steering speed
-Reduced roll centre, bump steer, and ackerman
-Works best with our extended control arms
-The relocated tie rod hole will not wallow out (thanks to hole having the correct taper (within 0.005mm tolerance)
-Mounting hardware will not loosen
-Easy install, no cutting or welding required
-Will outlive other standard components in suspension that still easily replaceable (no special parts needed)
-100% reversible modification
-Steering will not bind at any position, especially on full lock
-Steering will be responsive and have feedback – not feel ‘hollow’
-Best suited with linear ratio steering rack (ie purple tag)
Background
You may have seen or heard about these a few years ago when I was testing the waters for interest. I had the idea to design and create a bolt-on steering lock kit for my own drift duties – as I wanted a durable solution that’d quicken and increased the car’s steering lock angle. Since then a lot of R&D has gone into the design, it’s geometry and material choice to ensure perfect fitment, prime steering characteristics, and durability. This was achieved from calculated engineering, many prototypes, and rigorous testing where endless amounts of fun was had testing in track environments where they have been curbed, smashed, and abused each time with no signs of wear in their post stress analysis’ and years of use since.
Install tips…
1) We strongly recommend all products are installed by a qualified mechanic
2) Use the supplied nylock hardware
3) Use atleast 3mm total toe out
4) Must be used with E36 or E46 hubs and only E36 outer tie rods.
