Here is the KAZZ Engineering E36 Rear Differential Bushing Kit!
These solid bushings will hold your differential perfectly inside the subframe cradle.
What is included?
-Differential bushings (3 piece)
-New hardware including upgraded M14 high tensile front diff bolt
About the material…
Delrin is an engineering plastic with a very high stiffness characteristic. This material selection allows the KAZZENG bushings to limit all unwanted movement from your differential mounting points.
What’s the point…
These bushings stiffen the differential improving the vehicles handling capabilities. The two rear bushings securely hold the differential in place preventing it from sliding or twisting. When the factory diff bushings are worn; the singular front differential bolt acts as a pivot point when the differential is moving and can lead to failure. It is common for people to upgrade this bolt from a low tensile M12 bolt to a high tensile M14 bolt like that supplied in our kit. To complement this upgrade, we offer our front diff bushing with a 14mm bore to accomodate for the larger bolt. Please specify if you would like the bushings to accept your original M12 or our upgraded M14 hardware.
If you choose the M12 option than only bushings will be supplied. If you choose the M14 option than the upgrade bolt will be supplied.
We can also supply you with the neccesary 12.5 diameter drill bit and M14 x 2.0 tap at an extra cost.
Install tips…
1) We strongly recommend all products are installed by a qualified mechanic
2) Use the hardware supplied
3) You will have to drill the original front differential hole to 12.5mm and then use a M14x2.0  tap to cut the new thread. Alternatively, you can use our bolt with a nylock nut but you will need to remove material from the differential housing to gain clearance for the nut.
4) The KAZZ Engineering bushings are unique and are designed to be designed easily without the need for any speciality tools. The geometry of the bushings feature a stepped diameter. This means you can easily push the first 20% of the bushing inside the housing. This allows you to easily get the bushing orientated and ‘in there’. At this point the diameter is increased for a tight interferance fit. You can now press the rest of the bushing into the housing.
Front Bushing Options
